Horses, specifically seven galloping horses, have a great significance in Vaastu . Horse, in Vaastu , symbolizes success and power. A seven horse painting in your house or office leads to progress and success in your job or business

There is no specific reason to why there are only seven horses in vaastu painting but it is believed that number seven finds its relevance into many natural things –seven colours in rainbow, seven oceans , saptrishi (seven star constellation).We find its significance in Indian beliefs and rituals too– Saat janam(seven lives) and saptpadi(saat phere).

Which is the ideal direction for a Seven Horse Painting in Vaastu?
The direction of the galloping horses is very important. The seven horse painting should be placed in living room/office/commercial premises. While hanging the painting, one should make sure that it faces one’s home i.e. the horses coming into your home and not out from your home.
- South zone of your house is connected with success and fame. South wall of the home/office is considered to be ideal for seven horse painting. If the south wall is not available, then East wall can be considered.
Things to keep in mind :
- It should be kept in mind that the horses should emote happiness in their expressions and not anger.
- Avoid hanging painting that consist of abstract broken images of horses as this creates a distorted image in the mind and may confuse chi energy (natural energy) to enter into your home.

If I place painting on the east side so the horses faces the window on the north side and as per your instructions horses should not face the door or window which will be equivalent to horses moving out of the house. ReplyDeletehi.....I suggest u to choose painting with horses running from left side.that way u can place the painting on the most ideal wall i.e south wall and another advantage is that the horses will run from one shop into the another shop....so one painting will serve the purpose for both the shops. ReplyDeleteHi mathi.......the ideal material for seven horse painting is canvas as it is tough and steady and there is no need to frame a canvas. Soft material like paper is not preferred as it is fragile.Secondly, the glass reflects thus blocking the clear vision of painting which should not happen as per vaastu principles.

I suggest to go for an individual painting of each and put them in their ideal position as per vaastu( seven horse painting on south or east wall and waterfall painting on north wall)

I have a painting of seven horses n they r running from Left to Right.. if i place them on d South wall (adjacent to East door) they seem to b running out of d house n face d North which has window n balcony. If i place it on East wall they seem to be running out of d adjacent North wall having d window. What can i do? Incase of West wall it faces d East-side Entrance n d horse seem like running out of d South wall window. It's a complete confusion. Kindly suggest. Thank u.
hi there....you can go for horses running from right to left . In that case, u can place them on south or east wall and the horses will run towards west wall that has neither door nor window

Main door is on North East corner.
Please suggest where can I place the painting.. Also can I buy horses running from Left to right or facing North (main door).

ReplyDeleteMy Flat is west Facing, entrance on south west corner, on immediate south wall I have TV Unit and opposite to TV unit have 1 window and balcony glass sliding. On south wall after TV Unit have Arch to Enter in Kitchen and after that Arch 3ft south wall available but it's of Dining (have Living cum dining L shape).
Have East wall of Living but if I put Left to right Horses it will face to wards entrance and if I put Raght to left it will face towards balcony sliding. If I put it on East Wall of Daining it will exactly in front of Entrance door. Wall available is west wall of Living in row with entrance where if I put Right to Left it will face to my kitchen. And another wall available is of dining north wall. Please suggest. Also suggest Can I put it on south wall of dining which is just 3 ft available.
As u said u hv dining and living combined,u can go 4 south wall in dining area

Hi Vipin....as per color and background is concerned u can look at the image in the blog and decide accordingly.In case of size u can decide according to ur wall size

ReplyDeleteHi, our living room has a north entrance. Means when I stand with my face to the main door, I am facing north. And my back faces south where we have a huge window. Can we hang a picture of 7 horses above this window? If yes, we plan to hang picture of horses running from right to left, as the other rooms like kitchen, bedrooms and passage are to the left if we face the south wall of the living room. Is is fine?

According to you horses in the painting are running from right to left, so make sure they are not running out of the main door on the north wall....if that happens, you need to go for horses running from left to right

ReplyDeleteI reside in flat. Its main gate is north-west but our entry door is south-west. So right now i have two wall available of living area nort-west and south-east. If i will hand in south-east running horse direction is out of the door. So what should i do? Go for which wall?

If I place the seven house painting on the south wall of my living room it seems as if the horses are running out of the living room into the bedroom and out of the house through the immediate window in bedroom clearly visible from the living room if the doors are open. If I place it on the East wall there is main door in front and on the west there is washroom and another window. North wall again seems out of the house through main door. Bed room is not ideal for painting. Can I place it on the south wall of another room we have made kind of Pooja room and only almirahs kept there and is not much in use?? Kindly suggest..

Firstly, six horse painting has no significance in vaastu and secondly, bedroom wall is considered wrong to place horse painting
DeleteI have a 2bhk and smaller bedroom we use as workplace for our business, can i place 7 horse painting in this room and i sit facing south to work (is this ok??) also can i place 7 horse painting on this south wall.. but if i take horse running left to right it appears they moving out of the room. Also main door is visible from my sitting position.

hi reenal.....if u r not using the bedroom for sleeping then its perfectly fine. U can go for south or east wall but make sure horses are not running out of main door- u can decide the direction of horses as per ur requirement
